Market Entry Analyst
Overview
Novea Strategy is hiring a Market Entry Analyst to support client work across agriculture, technology, infrastructure and energy.
This role is suited to someone who can handle structured research and is interested in how companies enter new markets. You will work as part of small project teams, helping to build the assessments and analysis that sit behind market entry decisions.
The position is London-based with some scope for travel linked to project needs.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to market research and opportunity assessments for specific countries and sectors.
- Analyse data from public sources, industry reports and client inputs to support market entry planning.
- Help prepare market profiles, competitor snapshots and basic financial or volume assumptions.
- Draft slides, summaries and charts for internal discussions and client presentations.
- Support partner identification work by screening companies against agreed criteria.
- Assist with preparation for client meetings, including briefing notes and follow-up actions.
- Maintain project files, trackers and data sources in an orderly way.
Requirements
- 1–2 years’ experience in consulting, research, corporate strategy, economic development, or a related intern/graduate role.
- Strong desk research skills and comfort working with quantitative and qualitative information.
- Good written English and an ability to express findings in a concise, structured way.
- Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; basic familiarity with data visualisation is a plus.
- Interest in international markets and the sectors in which Novea Strategy works.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Business Development & Project Coordinator
Overview
Novea Strategy is also recruiting a Business Development & Project Coordinator to support pipeline development and live client delivery.
This is a junior commercial role that combines business development support with light project coordination for market entry assignments. You will work closely with senior team members on proposals and the early stages of client conversations.
The role is London-based and will involve regular contact with international clients and partners.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of proposals, pitch materials and case study packs.
- Maintain contact lists, opportunity trackers and simple CRM records for Novea Strategy’s pipeline.
- Help coordinate small project workstreams, including meeting scheduling and action tracking.
- Draft concise follow-up notes and summaries after client or partner calls.
- Assist in preparing Novea Strategy for events, roundtables or webinars related to market entry topics.
- Monitor relevant market news, tenders and announcements in Novea Strategy’s sectors and flag items of interest.
Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in a professional services, business development, or projects-based role.
- Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach to managing information.
- Confident written and spoken communication, including comfort dealing with senior external contacts.
- Solid PowerPoint and Excel skills; familiarity with simple CRM tools is helpful but not essential.
- Interest in international business and an appetite to learn about market entry work.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
